Thanks for your note. I appreciate your comments. Social media is certainly a big factor in internal communications and many firms have rushed to embrace it. Some, though, are more reluctant and are taking it slowly. There is no best way: it really depends on the culture of the organization and the appetite for openness and transparency. It's important to note that it's more about the "social" and less about the "media." The tools are easy to implement; it's the culture change that comes with them that is more difficult.

Great presentation. I especially loved the stats from eConsultancy about the prevalence of social media in corporate America. Certainly times are changing and when money is tight the most cost effective strategy is to engage what you have a deeper level.
